Working Experience

I¡¯ve been in Software Localization service for four years since I graduated from college in 1998.  My previous company is IBM China¡¯s inland Software Vendor, it is mainly responsible of providing software localization and testing service to IBM China NLS department.  I have taken the role of translator, project manager, oversea tester, department manager during the three years.   I¡¯ve performed translation verification tests in North Carolina IBM labs (please see the following list for details) for several times and has gained a lot of localization experience.
I¡¯m currently using IBM¡¯s localization software which can handle most of the file types (not .pdf and office series) correctly and efficiently.  
My current translation output each week is between 30,000 and 45,000 English words depending on the file type (word, excel, pdf files are surely more complicated).
